Have a question, tip, correction, or partnership inquiry? We would love to hear from you. Fill out the form below or email us directly at [email protected].

What to include

  • Corrections: the page URL, the line that is wrong, and what the correct information is. Corrections are checked first and noted on the updated page.
  • Product or guide questions: the model or guide name and what you are deciding between — storage, power, night coverage, running cost.
  • Reports about a camera you found: do not send footage or personal details here. Contact the platform or property first, and the police if you believe you were recorded.
  • Business enquiries: say who you are and what you are proposing. We do not sell placement inside our roundups.

This site is edited by Israel Joffe. Messages go to the editorial inbox rather than a ticket queue, so please keep one message to one topic.

We typically respond within 1-2 business days.

What happens after you write

Every message is read by a person, not a bot, and messages are answered in the order they arrive — usually within one to two business days, and faster for a correction that affects something published on the site.

If you are reporting a factual error, include the page address and what is wrong. Those take priority over everything else in the queue, because a page that is wrong is worse than a page that is missing. Corrections are applied and dated on the page itself.

Common questions

Do you sell cameras?
No. We publish buying guides and link to retailers. We do not operate a shop and we do not fulfil orders.
Will you review my product?
We consider products that fit the categories we cover. We do not accept payment for coverage, and a loan unit does not guarantee a review or a positive one.
Can you tell me if a camera is legal where I live?
We can point you to our guides on recording law, which explain the general position. We cannot give legal advice, so confirm anything that matters with a qualified professional in your state.
I found a camera watching me. What now?
Do not move it. Photograph and video it in place, note the time, and report it through the platform or to the property owner. Our detection guides cover how to check a room systematically.
